The Infinite
Giacomo Leopardi left us great works, become immortal classics of italian poetry. Among these The infinite represents the true manifesto of leopardi’s poetics, symbol of man’s aspiration to greater things and defined as an adventure of the soul. Leopardi, who composed this idyll on mount tabor in Recanati, starts from a little episode to develop the sense of his poetics: a hedge prevents him the view of the landscape and so he begins to imagine immense spaces… This biopic will tell you about his tormented relationship with love and family and his return to Recanati, where he will produce his most famous works, until death, following which the poet will reunite himself with that infinite that originates the story of his life.
